The Story
The Rival Mob was a hardcore band from Boston, MA. Founded in 2007 by members of XfilesX, Mind Eraser, The Bottom Line, and many more, the group played a heavy late 80s NYHC style infused with humor and some level of theatrics. They released a the Raw Life 12" on Lockin' Out, the Hardcore For Hardcore 7" on Six Feet Under, and then the Mob Justice LP on Revelation, all while also releasing their own promotional tapes and demos with various rarities. The Rival Mob were never touring too seriously, but they played regularly throughout New England and the Mid Atlantic, as well as some trips to the west coast and Europe, and, of course, appearances the various national hardcore festivals. They broke up in 2016, and members went on to play mostly in metal bands. They are slated to reunited for Sound And Fury 2026. This original Rival Mob Human Centipede shirt is in deadstock condition.
