It was originally known as Lincoln Normal School Of Marion and over the course of nearly a century slowly transitioned into the ASU that we know today. Now, Alabama State is home to degree-granting colleges and over 5,000 students. They have DI sports teams and boast Lil Yachty and 2 Chainz as alumni.
