Breakdown are a hardcore band from Yonkers, NY. Originally formed in 1987, the band 's first demo quickly became considered a classic. The lineup that created those songs quickly fell apart, singer Jeff Perlin was the only member to stick around. Breakdown continued on into the 21st century. They released their album Battle Hymns For An Angry Planet on Thorp Records in 2000. The lineup of Breakdown was a kind of NYHC supergroup at that point, featuring Crown Of Thornz's Mike Dijan and Leeway's AJ Novello on guitars. This original Breakdown shirt, in great condition, is from the Battle Hymns era of the band.
