The Story
Burzum, the Norwegian black metal band, released Filosofem, their fourth album, in 1996. The album was actually recorded three years earlier in a particularly busy streak for Varg Vikernes, the group's only member, but its release was delayed as he was serving a lengthy sentence for murder and arson. Filosofem went on to become Burzum's most popular album, thanks in part to mainstream support from outlets like MTV. This original four-sided Burzum long sleeve shirt, nicely faded and worn, is from the release of Filosofem.
