The show's format was a simple sketch comedy show, with Chappelle starring in skits with and Paul Mooney, Charlie Murphy, Donnell Rawlings, and many more, but it became a national sensation almost immediately. It only ran for two seasons, but there are countless jokes and characters that became part of the cultural lexicon, from "I'm Rick James, bitch" to WacArnolds to Silky Johnson.
