In 1995, Deicide, the death metal band from Tampa, FL, released Once Upon The Cross, their third album. The four piece was founded nearly a decade earlier under various names and had assumed the form that we now know in 1989 when they signed to Roadrunner Records and changed their name. Once Upon The Cross was produced by long-time collaborator Scott burns and was typically evil. They are still active to this day, still led by Glen Benton. This original Deicide long sleeve shirt, nicely worn and faded, is from 1995, the same year they released Once Upon The Cross, and features a reference to the song "Behind The Light Thou Shall Rise."
