The Story
Faust are a German Krautrock band founded in 1971. The band almost immediately scored a record deal with Polydor. They gained popularity as international focus shifted towards Germany. They released four records and then broke in up in 1975. They reunited with a fractured live lineup in the 90s, including Werner "Zappi" Diermaier and Jean-Hervé Péron, and eventually produced the 1996 album You Know FaUSt, their second album in reunion. The band has since split into two separate iterations. Both are still active to this day. This original Faust shirt, lightly worn in and faded, is from the band's sixth album You Know FaUSt.
