Los Angeles-based industrial metal band Fear Factory released Soul Of A New Machine, their debut album, in 1992. The band had formed three years earlier, and already recorded and canned an LP with Ross Robinson, released as Concrete in 2002, but they didn't feel like they had come into their own until this batch of songs. The blending of metal styles on this album helped establish the alternative metal genre, which Fear Factory were leaders of. This original Fear Factory shirt, nicely faded and worn, is from the 1992 release of Soul Of A New Machine.
