Grant Hill joined the 1996 US Olympic men's basketball team, the Dream Team, after only his second season in the NBA. Hill had already proven himself as one of the game's best, having an amazing career at Duke University, winning the national championship in 1991 and 92, and having an equally amazing first two seasons with the Detroit Pistons. At the Olympics, Hill, who led the team in steals, and the Dream Team won the Gold medal, just as everyone knew they would.
