Green River was a grunge band, one of the earliest, from Seattle, WA founded in 1984. The band released two EPs and an LP during their time together, notably early on the Sub Pop label, and toured nationally as well. While their output was relatively small and their time together was short, they proved to be one of the most important underground bands of the late 20th century, as members went on to play in bands like Melvins and Pearl Jam and their music went on to influence bands like Nirvana and the rest of the grunge scene. This original Green River shirt is in great condition with a few light marks.
