The Story

H.R. Giger was an artist from Switzerland. He was born in 1941 and created a style of art that was completely his own: a sci-fi biomechanical technique that was dystopian and futuristic. Giger contributed to both movies, like the Academy Award-winning Alien and Jodorowsky's Dune, as well as album covers for bands like Danzig and Dead Kennedys. While he was a prominent figure in popular culture, he was still a well-regarded fine artist. There is a H.R. Giger museum in Switzerland and many galleries throughout the world show his work. Sadly, he died in 2014. This original H.R. Giger silkscreen is signed by the artist.
