The Story

H.R. Giger was an artist from Switzerland. He was born in 1941 and created a style of art that was completely his own: a sci-fi biomechanical technique that was dystopian and futuristic. Giger contributed to both movies, like the Academy Award-winning Alien and Jodorowsky's Dune, as well as album covers for bands like Danzig and Dead Kennedys. While he was a prominent figure in popular culture, he was still a well-regarded fine artist. There is a H.R. Giger museum in Switzerland and many galleries throughout the world show his work. Sadly, he died in 2014. This original H.R. Giger book, with light surface rubbing and corner wear, is first edition second printing.
