The Story
EYE Tattooed America was a book edited by Don Ed Hardy originally published in 1993. Hardy is one of the most renowned tattooers in the entire world, known for establishing and popularizing many aspects of modern tattooing that is now canon. His book showcased the cementing of this tradition, featuring his own work and work of many other important early artists, like George Klauba(whose art is featured on this tee) and many more. To make this shirt even more legendary, it was actually taken off the ceiling (!) of Good Time Charlie's End Of The Trail, the California-based shop. This original EYE Tattooed America shirt from 1993 is in great condition with some discoloration and glue marks from being glued to Charlie Cartwright's ceiling.
