The Story
In 1991, Hawkwind, the British space rock group, celebrated their 21st anniversary. The band had found considerable success during their career, having made several popular albums that led to stadium tours across the globe and international album charts. To celebrate the band and their long-running history, they got together at the Brixton Academy on July 6 of 1991 with some friends and a few thousand fans. They still continue to this day with Dave Brock still leading the way. This original Hawkwind shirt, nicely worn in and heavily faded, is from their 21st anniversary show in 1991.
