The Story
Hüsker Dü released Candy Apple Grey, their fifth album, in 1986. The band had formed in Minneapolis, MN seven years prior and spent those years blazing through the underground with speed and melody unlike any other. This attracted the likes of Warner Bros, the major label, and so they were signed in 1985. Though the record performed traditionally better than their previous efforts, it broke into the Billboard Top 200 at 140, they still remained largely an underground band. However they only lasted two more years before they completely disbanded. This original ice gray Hüsker Dü shirt, with a few marks and pinholes, is from their Candy Apple Grey album in 1986.
