The Story
Whoppers, those little chocolate covered malt balls, were created in 1949. The candy has been produced by Hershey since 1996, but was originally made by Leaf Brands, a California-based candy company. Leaf was also the manufacturer of such classics as Jolly Rancher, Milk Duds, Heath Bar, anymore. This vintage Whoppers shirt, in deadstock condition, is from the days when it was still produced by Leaf Brands.
