The Story
Leeway are a hardcore band from New York City founded in 1984. The group rose to prominence in the late 1980s with their decidedly unique mix of heavy metal guitar riffing and hardcore heaviness. Guitarist AJ Novello was an amazingly skilled guitarist and singer Eddie Sutton had a bit of an easy going swagger to his approach. Paired together, they have a sound unlike anyone else that has since resonated with generation of fans. After releasing four LPs together, the band split up in 1996. However, they couldn't stay away for long as they got back together in 1999 and have played sporadically ever since. This original Leeway shirt, lightly worn, is from their 1999 reunion.
