The Lemonheads released It's A Shame About Ray, their fifth album, in 1992. The band worked fast, releasing a constant and quick selection of albums from their start in 1986. Led by Evan Dando, they employed an upbeat melodicism with roots in punk. It's A Shame About Ray proved to be a breakout moment for the band, as it was certified Gold and charted in several countries. The lineup shifted, losing every member of the band including bassist Juliana Hatfield, but they have continued on to this present day. This original Lemonheads shirt, lightly worn and faded, is from their 1992 in support of It's A Shame About Ray.
