The Los Angeles Philharmonic was founded 1919. The symphonic orchestra is one of the most well-regarded in the world, and is regularly praised for their progressive approach to the classic form. Despite their century-long career, the LA Philharmonic has only had 11 music directors. They have regularly played at the Hollywood Bowl since 1922 and currently play indoors at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
