Marrion Barry was the mayor of Washington, DC from 1979 to 1991, and then again from 1995 to 1999. While he was an important figure in the Civil Rights movement, he is probably better known for when he was caught smoking crack in 1990. Barry ultimately got his job back and repaired his legacy.
