Max And The Makeups were a punk band from Austin, TX founded in 1981. The band started after The Ravons lost their guitarist and drummer and needed replacements. The lineup ended up being Carl, Max, Mike, Jon, and Lisa. They began playing and started something new and their own. This original Max And The Makeups flyer, in great condition with yellowing, tells the story of the origin of the band.
