The Story
Mike Ness, the guitarist and singer of Social Distortion, released Cheating At Solitaire, his debut album, in 1999. Social D formed two decades earlier, so he was already a well-known and -respected guy, and so when it came time to do his own rock n rolly solo stuff, he was able to bring some big names on board, names like Bruce Springsteen and Brian Setzer. Ness only released one other solo record, a cover album that came out the same year. Since then, he has conitnued staying busy with Social D. This original Mike Ness shirt, nicely worn and lightly faded with a few pinholes, is from the release of his debut solo album, 1999's Cheating At Solitaire.
