The Story
Orange County, CA is located just south of Los Angeles. While it has a history of punk and hardcore, it isn't necessarily a hub. The notoriously conservative county hasn't always taken kindly to youth culture, especially when it's inherently antagonistic towards local's views. But on November 11, 1990, a group of bands got together to advocate for a county alternative music center, hosting a benefit show to raise funds to offer kids a different place to go. The show features Mindrot, Confrontation, Garblecrat, Subvert Secunts, and Media Children. This original flyer from the Mindrot Orange County benefit show is lightly discolored.
