The Story
Motörhead, the British heavy metal band led by legendary bassist and singer Lemmy Kilmister, were founded in 1975. They were part of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal which successfully re-energized attention on their style of music. In 1985, the band went on a 10th anniversary tour. By that point, they had released seven full length albums and done a tour a year. Motörhead continued on for 30 more years until Lemmy's tragic death in 2015. This original Motörhead shirt, nicely worn in and faded, is from the band's 10th anniversary tour in 1985.
