Napalm Death are a band from England. Founded in 1981, they didn't assume the form that currently exists until shortly before their debut album, 1987's Scum. When they secured the lineup they still mostly have today, they helped spawn an entire genre of fast, crusty, metal-inspired aggression that has come to be known as grindcore.
