The record was a massive success, going to #1 in the UK and subsequently being certified Gold in both the UK and the US. As you would expect, they hit the road to bring the songs to the people. And so in the summer of 89, New Order made the trek across the pond and came to do a month-long tour across North America, starting in California, going up through the midwest into Canada, and then ending on the east coast.
