The Oneida Nation is one of four nationally recognized Oneida groups. Situated in Wisconsin, they are a sovereign nation outside of the United States. Their land was secured and reservation established through a treaty in 1838, even though they had been living there well before any Europeans were on the continent. This vintage Oneida Nation Tribe shirt, nicely worn in and thin, is from 1992, the "Year Of The Oneida Nation."
