The Story
Outspoken were a straight edge hardcore band from Orange County, CA founded in 1990. Picking up where classic OC bands like Uniform Choice left off, Outspoken played a brooding style of hardcore that favored mid-tempo emotional mosh parts over fast, aggressive bursts. The band released three 7"s, including 1990's Survival, and an LP before calling it quits in the mid 90s. Almost all of their records were released on guitarist Mike Hartsfield's New Age Records. This original Outspoken single stitch shirt, with two small repairs on the backside in nicely worn and faded condition, is from their Survival era.
