The Story
Revelation was a doom metal band from Baltimore, MD who trace their roots back to 1985 but properly began releasing music under that name in 1987. In 1989, they self-released The Illusion Of Progress, a six-song cassette. The band was just a few years away from breaking onto the national scene, as their debut album was released in 1991 on Lee Dorian's Rise Above Records. This original Revelation press kit from 1989, in great condition, features three flyers promoting their self-released demos up until that point.
