On Halloween 1982, heavy metal acts Riot, Anvil, and Raven got together to play a show in Staten Island booked by Rock N' Roll Heaven. Riot formed in New York City in 1975, Anvil was from Toronto and had been playing together since 1978, and Raven were from England and founded in 1974. The bill was certainly stacked, and it also included gargoyles, an air guitar contest, and more. If you didn't make it out the show, then we have the next best thing: a t-shirt featuring the flyer. This original Halloween Headbangers Ball shirt from 1982 has been cut on the bottom as well as in the pit.
