The Seahawks are a professional football team from Seattle, WA. The team was founded as an expansion team in 1976. A long-running member of the AFC West, the Seahawks have been a part of the NFC West since 2002. They have also played at Lumen Field for nearly as long as they were at their original Kingdome stadium.
