The Story
On November 28, 1987, some Boston hardcore bands made their way to Windsor, ON, a border town right near Detroit, MI. Slapshot, a tough band featuring Choke from the legendary bands Last Rights and Negative FX, and Wrecking Crew, another tough band who had just formed that same year. Also joining them from Montreal were the Doughboys, an alt rock band. The show was presented by Sold Out, a zine from Windsor that ran from 1987-1990. This original flyer, in great condition, is from the Slap Shot, Doughboys, Wrecking Crew in Windsor, ON on November 28, 1987.
