The Story
In Star Wars, the first film in the massive franchise, Luke Skywalker successfully blows up the Death Star in the climax of the movie. The Death Star was a planet-sized weapon, a giant piece of machinery built by the Empire that was capable of blowing up anything. However, thanks to a design flaw and the Force, Luke was able to shoot some torpedoes directly into the reactor causing the entire thing to just explode into smithereens, and with it many Stormtroopers. As everyone knows, though, the destruction of the Death Star, while significant, did not completely stop the Empire. So some Stormtroopers carried on, even with having lost friends in the battle. This vintage Star Wars shirt from the 1990s, with light fading and wear, features a sad Stormtrooper who lost a friend in the Death Star.
