Marvel superhero Spider-Man was created by Steve Ditko and Stan Lee in 1962, and since his first appearance, Spidey has gone on to be one of the most beloved characters in all of comics. Spider-Man is really Peter Parker, a high school student from Queens who gets superpowers after being bit by a radioactive spider. He then has to help keep NYC safe from various villains, including The Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, and Venom, and all while trying to impress his next-door neighbor Mary Jane.
