The album went to #12 in the US and #3 in the UK and has since been certified Multi-Platinum. The band went on the road to support the record in a tour they dubbed The Prayer Tour. The tour had different openers, from Pixies to Shelleyan Orphan, but one of the mainstays were the British punks in Love And Rockets. Together, they played huge shows, like stadiums where sports teams play. This original Cure shirt, heavily faded and worn, is from the band's 1989 Prayer Tour.
