British rockers The Who released their fourth album Quadrophenia in 1973. The record was the band's second rock opera, following up 1969's Tommy. It has been certified Gold in the UK and Platinum in the US. In 1996, the band brought the record back to life with a live tour where they performed the record in full with other famous musicians, such as Gary Glitter, Billy Idol, and Zak Starkey. This original Quadrophenia tour shirt, in excellent condition with little to no signs of wear, is from when The Who and special guests toured the record in 1996.
