The Story
Tori Amos, the singer songwriter, was known for touring by herself. While her records were fully fleshed out with many musicians, her touring, which was pretty sporadic in the 90s, saw Amos playing almost exclusively by herself, just a piano and her voice. That was until 1998 when she embarked on the tour she dubbed Plugged, a play on the MTV acoustic series Unplugged. Amos, who was supporting her album From The Choirgirl Hotel, played over 100 concerts, and some of the best performances were released on the live portion of To Venus And Back. This original Tori Amos shirt, nicely worn with a few light marks, is from her 1998 Plugged tour.
