Ugly Kid Joe are a heavy metal band from Isla Vista, CA founded in 1987. The band was formed by childhood friends and their humorous lyrics and classic heavy metal riffs made them into a hit band. Their debut EP, As Ugly As They Wanna Be, was release by Stardog in 1991 and was the first EP ever go Multi-Platinum. This original Ugly Kid Joe promo poster, with creasing and light surface marks, features the album art from As Ugly As They Want Be.
