Project Pat, the Memphis, TN rapper, released his sophomore solo album Mista Don't Play: Everythangs Workin in 2001. He released his debut two years prior but gained mainstream attention from his guest spot on Three 6 Mafia's 2000 hit "Sippin' On Some Syrup" and so by the time his sophomore album was being released he had much more attention. Mista Don't Play, which was released by Three 6 label Hypnotize Minds an Loud, was a huge hit, going to #4 on the Billboard charts and eventually being certified Platinum. And it was surely due to the Three 6 connection, as DJ Paul and Juicy J produced the record, but it was also due to the quality of the songs, like single "Don't Save Her" featuring Crunchy Black. It even had a music video. Project Pat has, of course, continued rapping to this day. This original Project Pat shirt, with some discoloration on the shoulders and some pinholes, is a rare promotional tee from Hypnotize Minds for his 2001 album Mista Don't Play: Everythangs Workin.
